IOW, how sneaky crafty ballsy can you sketch a mortal to make it believable that he will compete on that playing field with immortal royals?
I may play this guy some day, but in the mean time, have him as an NPC:
Shadow of King Oberon of Amber
Human Strength (-25)
Adept of Broken Pattern (25)
Daidem of Discernment: 25 point Construct, composed of -
Shadow of Cadinene: 13 points.
Primal (Has a Broken Pattern), Destiny, Barrier, Guards.
Flux-Pin with Mold Shadow Reality. (12)
King Auberon created the universe, using Trump to draw the Broken Pattern of Cadinene. Others exist, cast as reflections, but are inferior. Some of them, out at one edge of reality, have no usable interstices at all, rendering them completely useless; at the other end of reality there are no lines at all, so the interstices must twist and twirl in complete chaos.
King Auberon rarely travels - when he needs something in Shadow, he sends out a tendril to locate it, and then draw a Trump to the location. These Shadows end up being either absorbed into his empire, or become allied protectorates in the Trump Circle.
