There were times that called for the use of ancient and powerful words, the acknowledgment of humans in a crisis everywhere and everywhen since language was first invented. This was one of them. "Shit." Aurora said.

Anyone else ever see this? It's basically Amber fan-fiction (a word which usually carries connotations of horrid writing and wretched ideas), but it isn't half bad.

Skip past the post about Starbucks to get to the story links. :P

Reading it almost makes me feel like I should finish the "A Night in the Lonesome October" fanfic story I started writing like 10 years ago.

Yes! I found this story a year ago or so. And I liked it, so I saved it in a file for offline reading.

In the meantime, the writer has started a second story, the first part is on the "December 2008" page. It looks like a sequel to the first story (also about Corwin) and at the moment it is less action-oriented. But I keep checking whether anything has been added. Unfortunately, the pace is quite slow.
