There were times that called for the use of ancient and powerful words, the acknowledgment of humans in a crisis everywhere and everywhen since language was first invented. This was one of them. "Shit." Aurora said.

Sorry Silverfox, I didn't want to ignore you.

I don't know about summarizing. I'm not really comfortable doing that with "important" NPC's like the family. Especially with something important like warning them about the looming attack of Chaos.

I have no issue doing that with "lesser" characters, and I've done that before. It's just that I crave dialog. (I guess I'm asking for suffering, lol).

Then find a different way to convey the information. Ask them if they know what's going on first, and then fill in the blanks off what they tell you. Tell them you want to save it for a family meeting.

Seriously, I hate repeating myself over and over; there are all kinds of ways to get around it.

I had wanted to talk to Flora more as well, but you did a good job of stomping on Julian's heart with your spiked shoes. :)

To be fair, to a woman who has become a bit jaded because she gets a dozen proposals whenever she steps foot out the door from complete strangers, Julian's attentions - with no stated interest in their background beyond him giving her puppies when she was a kid - came out of left field and were interpreted as a desire for ... well, a memorable night. There was no indication that his heart was on the line; only his libido. And what Amberite takes one "Not now moment" as the end of the pursuit?

Perhaps I should have describe Julian as being a bit of a hermit, holed up most of the time with his troops in Arden.

It doesn't really matter though, what happened happened realistically I think, like many misunderstandings between men and women. If only it haven't been Benedict... lol.
Flora wouldn't understand of course, and neither would Benedict. That was about the cruelest cut that could happen to Julian.

I'd tell you why, but I guess I'm still not sure what I'm doing.

:) See! Isn't it annoying to repeat yourself? Julian would probably bash my head in trying to talk to me!

Oh wait...

Ah, I don't know. My biggest mistake was probably trying to run such a grim and serious character. Of course most of the other characters were taken, (And then they left, damn it!)

It's up to you. If you don't mind putting up with me a little bit more, I would be willing to stay and play.

Because it would have been so much better if it had been Dad; who Flora was afraid it might be.
